L'Olivo di Ischia Cottages enjoy a peaceful and panoramic position in the north-western side of the island of Ischia, privileged set of some of its most exclusive mansions. The historical centre of Forio, as well as San Francesco beach and the famous La Mortella Gardens, are within walking distance.
The Villa and the three additional cottages lie in a lush terraced park, characterized by the typical drywalls in local volcanic stone. The extraordinary microclimate favors not only an unusual variety of Mediterranean plants and flowers, but also the growth of many tropical species. In the park there are also a 150 sq. m. swimming pool with changing rooms, a barbecue with pizza oven and a covered parking.
The Giardino and Orange Cottages can be rented in addition or separately to other parties on the same estate but each with their own privacy.
Giardino Cottage 3 bedrooms (2 double and 1 single)
The former home of the peasant, who cared after the orchard, the olive grove and the vegetable garden, situated in the north-western corner of the property near one of the two entrances to the park, has been transformed in a beautiful Mediterranean house. On a single level it offers the ideal accommodation for a family or a small group of friends: 3 bedrooms with private bathrooms, the largest one with Jacuzzi, spacious kitchen, dining room, large living room with billiard-table corner and fireplace for a total surface of 170 sm. The living room and the bigger bedroom offer flat screen TV with satellite programs, Wi-Fi and iPod docking station. Furnishings and decorations by local artisans create an elegant and relaxed island atmosphere.
Orange Cottage (2 double bedrooms)
When the citruses are blossoming, dining under the porch of the Citrus house can become an inebriant experience. On a single level it offers the ideal accommodation for a couple with children: 2 bedrooms with en-suite bathroom, spacious kitchen with dining corner, large living room for a total surface of 75 sm. Exterior porches face the orchard and the hills while interior spaces offer an elegant and relaxed island atmosphere. The living room and the bigger bedroom offer flat screen TV with satellite programs, Wi-Fi and iPod docking station.
