Paolo Apartment - Positano - Amalfi Coast
2 Bedrooms (1 double, 1 twin) 

An old 17th century villa, has been recently renovated with care and tasteful decorated with touches of quality. Built in a peaceful and quite yet centrally location, it offers hospitality in 2 pleasant apartments situated on the ground floor, while the owner only occasionally resides on the upper level during the week-ends. Each on 2 levels, the apartments  are independent and allow privacy; they are, however, very close to each other, so that can be rented separately or be grouped together to house up to 8 persons.
One of the advantages of these houses is to be very centrally located, an ideal place for those not wishing to have a car. They are  steps away from the celebrated chic boutiques , restaurants and bars. Parking, to be booked on confirmation of booking,  is available at a nearby car park costing 18/20 Euro per day to be paied locally, although a car is not essential thanks to frequent buses and ferries serving all the major beauty spots and neighbouring towns and villages of this coastline.

Apt. 1  (sleeps 4): Two levels. Entrance level: The entrance leads into the large sitting/dining room furnished in a  charming style with white washed  wall, cotto tiles on the floor, wooden table and chairs, comfortable sofa, satellite TV  and  2 French windows opening on to the balcony which runs the lenght of the apartment and faces a truly picture postcard material.
The kitchens are compact and efficient  with  fridge, cooker with 3 gas rings and oven, and a separate WC room with washing machine.
Mezzanine level: The upper level, reached by 8 steps, has 1 double bedroom with en-suite shower bathroom and 1 one twin bedroom with bathroom with shower.

Apt. 2  ( sleeps 4): As Apartment 1 but having the double bedroom  accessed via seven steps  while the twin bedroom is accessed via twelve steps. Both bedrooms  have en suite  bathrooms, one bathroom has  a shower and one has a tub.

Distances: 5 minutes walking down  to the centre and ten more min. to the main beach "Spiaggia Grande". A station for the internal yellow-bus is right on the road above. A walk takes guests to the top of the village from where one can get the blue buses marked SITA to Sorrento (1 h.) or Amalfi (1 h.). To the right of the main beach many ferries and hydrofoils ply daily between Positano and Capri (50 min), Naples (50 min), Amalfi (30 min) and Salerno ( 1/2 h).
Within few minutes walk there is a variety of shops, bars, internationally known boutiques and various restaurants. Airport: Naples 60 Km (1½ h), Rome 267 Km (3 h).

Access: Easily reached by 54 steps down from the main road.
Maid services: 4 hours midweek and Saturdays, with change of linen once midweek.
Mandatory weekly cleaning fee , payable locally 100,00 euro per week.
Facilities: satellite TV, washing machine, oven, fridge , portable fans.
