This ancient, beautiful rental villa, anywhere near Vietri Sul Mare, is located into the village of Raito, set in a secluded and peaceful spot, offers a charming and extensive view of the famous village of Vietri sul Mare, the coastline, and the sea. Outdoor (6000 sq.m.). The property is located just three kilometers from the center of Vietri, but at 200mt to the grocery and the essential shops. Vietri offers all basic facilities: restaurants, shops, banks, grocery, beach service. Vietri, famous for its handmade tiles is located just on the southern side of Amalfi Coast, close to exit of the A3 highway.
From Vietri starts the long narrow named Amalfi Coast with many villages scattered along the coast. at only 3km Raito lays fully immersed in a wonderful scenario. the sea and the sun on a side, the rocky mountains, lemon trees and the vineyards on the other side. Into the village of Raito there is Villa il Carubo.
The house is on the top of a small path, past the iron gate you'll have access to the the property. Palm, lemon and olive trees surround the tranquil area in front of the villa. A flowering bouganvilleas growing up on a tyical pergola will welcome at your arrival. At the entrance, a delightful solarium terrace with a beautiful view on one side of the house is equipped by chairs and a wonderful ceramic table for al fresco dinner.
Next to the garden of the villa there is the vineyard, from whose grapes an excellent wine (Capo d'Orso) is produced. The winery can be visited. The swimming pool overlooking the Gulf of Salerno, can be heated and can be spotligthed in the night.
A secondary gate will access you at a shortcut to the village of Raito, where you can have a grocery or newspaper.On the same road to the village there is the public park of Villa Guariglia, with the Museum of Ceramics of Vietri. During the Summer the park host concerts of classical music and jazz.
The garden is based on several terraces, some with manicured meadows, some with flowers and plants, on the largest one is set the widest heated pool (20 x 6 mt). All the area is equipped by umbrellas and chaise lounges. A dressing room is next to the pool.
Indoor. HOUSE (250 m2): The spacious interior has been elegantly and tastefully furnished with valuable antiques and unique contemporary objects d'art. the house is a well balanced mix of rustic & Vietri style, with modern influences. Silverware, sought furnishings and crystals give a very refined mood to the villa il Carrubo.
Ground floor: This floor has a spacious living room, beautifully furnished with comfortable sofas, a stone fireplace, armchairs and French doors that lead to a wonderful veranda with a dining room. The well lit room has a terrific view on the garden, the pool and the Amalfi Coast. The dining room has a wooden dining table. A Bang Olufsen flat screen tv sat is set in the living room.
The fully-equipped kitchen has a washing machine, dishwasher and fridge. A doors leading to a nice pergolato where is possible to eat al fresco. This floor also has a large bathroom with Jacuzzi and a shower.
Twenty steps lead down to the first floor and a lower floor.
2nd floor: There are 2 bedrooms sharing a large bathroom with a jacuzzi bath tub, each with wonderful view over the park and the sea. The master bedroom has a queen bed, a solid wooden table, a portable fan, and a spacious en suite bathroom. A wooden staricase leads to a loft with a gym, internet corner and the access to a private terrace, where you can enjoy the best views of the villa and its park. On the same floor there is a bedroom with two beds.
Lower ground floor: A double bedroom with queen bed and en suite bathroom (with jacuzzi) and an independent access to the garden and the pool area. Next door a tiny twin bedroom with bunk beds is available on request. it has also an ensuite bath with a shower. All of the bedrooms are really well furnished and decored with contemporay works of art. All of them have air conditioning.
