Lory is a typical and welcoming apartment well located right in the centre town of Positano on the Amalfi Coast at only 400 m. to the beach (Spiaggia Grande)and 100 m. to the pedestrian area where you can find restaurants, bars, shops and public transportations. Lory apt can sleeps up to six people in approximately 120 square meters (1290 square feet).
Lory is located on a second floor, right a flight of 15 steps is all you’ll do to have access to the apartment: very fewest steps if you consider the most part of the houses in Positano and Amalfi Coast! Only 15 steps to came across in a charming place filled of light and stunning views. Apartment Lory can be an ideal place for a family of 4 for exploring the Amalfi Coast or to live a sample of Italian lifestyle in a lively seaside town as Positano, well known worldwide for its beauty. Also it can be rented altogether with Luigi Apartment, located just downstairs, in case your party is larger or need more bedrooms. This is an ideal place for groups of friends, family reunion, couples on honeymoon.
Both the apartments have independent access and are very well decorated with antiques furnishings or in a Moorish style. They are also featured by elegant hand made tiles floors in Vietri style and vaulted ceiling. Both the apartments can accommodate a max of 10 people.
The aprtment has not a private parking and for its position You will not need a car to stay. If you do have one, you can able to park it nearby in a private parking (daily rate around 20/25eur depending on the size of the car).
Outdoor
The doorway will give you access to a large 70 sq. m. terrace, paved with hand made cotto tiles. It is partly shaded by a gazebo and a bamboo pergola next the living room. The terrace is soughtly equipped with iron sofas and armchairs, as well as with tables, chairs and a gazebo. From the terrace you will have a view of the surrounding buildings and of the greenery and from some spots you’ll see the sea.
Indoor
The 120 sqm apartment consists of a large living room paved with handmade cotto tiles, in the typical of the Amalfi Coast.
The furnishings are refined and sought, with some antique pieces. There you’ll find a marble fireplace decorated with original antiques hand made tiles. In front of it there are a sofa and two single beds, generally set as sofas with big cushions. A sat television is in the living room. French windows will lead you on the terrace with a view of Positano. The room is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit.
From the living room, through an arch you’ll have access to the kitchen. It is very well equipped with a four-burner gas cooker, an electric oven, a fridge with freezer, a microwave oven, a coffee-maker, a kettle, a washing machine, an iron and an ironing board. There is a table to seat up to eight guests. The furnishings of the kitchen include a bed for one guest.
From the kitchen you have access to the first bathroom, excavated into the rocks and decorated with colorful handmade majolica tiles. Worth of note its shower in the rocks.
A door connects the living room to the master bedrooms. This double bedroom has a matrimonial bed (164 cm/62 inches, wider than a queen-size bed). The bedroom is furnished with a fireplace decorated with majolica tiles. The furnishings include wood benches and an armchair. From the bedroom you have access to the terrace. The bedroom is equipped with an air conditioning.
The master bedroom is connected to a corridor, featured by a mezzanine level upstairs (coming up 12 steps) there you will find a single bed (80 cm/32 inches). The corridor leads also to a second bathroom with shower. You will be able to have access to the mezzanine and the bathroom through a french windows directly from the terrace.
