Villa Rosa Marina occupies a magnificent position above the pretty beach of Marina del Cantone in Nerano, near the southernmost tip of the spectacular Amalfi peninsular. The area around Nerano and Marina del Cantone is an ideal destination for both lovers of the sea and lovers of the mountains. The mountain paths and scenery are a delight for walkers and the pebbly beach has several private lidos and an abundance of beach-front restaurants serving delicious local dishes. If you prefer to eat in, we would be delighted to organise one of the best chefs in the Amalfi area to prepare a gourmet dinner for you at home on the terrace.
The villa is about 1 km from the beach of Marina del Cantone, where you will find several shops and a pier for the regular boats to the islands of Capri and Ischia. The SITA bus stop for the Sorrento - Massa Lubrense - Nerano line is only 150 metres away and the villa has ample, private parking for 5 cars. We can also arrange a limousine service if you prefer.
The villa boasts Mediteranean style architecture over three floors and accomodates up to 20 people in 10 bedrooms while offering astounding views along the coast and across the Bay. Each bedroom has its own large bathroom, air conditioning, telephone, satellite plasma TV, safe and a stunning view of the sea. It is also possible to rent just a 6 bedroom portion of the villa.
THE TERRACES
Villa Rosa Marina has four stunning terraces. The view from the top terrace is absolutely amazing, best enjoyed from the comfort a low-slung hammock in the shade of an olive tree. There is an infinity swimming pool, 11 x 4 metres and it is fully equipped with sun loungers and comfortable pool-side chairs. The pool is open and carefully maintained from the beginning of April right through until the end of October.
The second terrace on the next level down is dedicated to al fresco dining and there is a barbecue, a wood-burning pizza oven and a table for 20 or more guests. The dining area itself is on a patio covering 60 square metres with a pergola providing shade during sunny afternoons.
The third and main terrace covers more than 200 square metres and is furnished with an enormous dining table in the centre and sofas, armshairs and romantic tables for two dotted around the sides. We can guarantee that the view from here over the Bay will make it very hard indeed for you to get up and leave the comfort of your armchair!
The fourth terrace is on the ground floor and leads directly into the living area close to the kitchen and inside dining room. It goes without saying that the views from here are equally spectacular!
THE VILLA
GROUND FLOOR
The ground floor houses the main shared areas of the villa; the living room, the dining room, a TV room complete with comfortable sofas, a professional kitchen and a fully-stocked bar. There are also two, superb double bedrooms with en suite bathrooms and sea views.
FIRST FLOOR
The entrance to the villa is on the first floor and it also leads directly onto the main terrace. There are four double bedrooms with en suite bathrooms, three of which have sea views and the fourth has views over the gardens.
SECOND FLOOR
There are also four bedrooms with en suite bathrooms on the second floor. Three of the bedrooms on this floor have their own private terrace, giving you yet another fantastic view of the sea and the Amalfi Coast.
The villa is fitted with a lift to all floors and wheelchair access to the main terrace.
